AutoBead program which automatically converts Imported graphic image files and/or Scanned images into Bead Patterns. Has been designed as an Add-on to the Bead Pattern Designer program but can be used separately to produce and print patterns.
Bead Pattern Designer which uses the concept of graph paper and has the ability to produce instant graph paper for each new design called Bead Matrix.
This program eliminates the need to manually design on a graph paper. The Bead Pattern Designer allows you to define the characteristics of your design such as pattern type, finished size in inches, millimeters or bead count and the type of bead to use and the bead size.
Pattern type can either be Loom, Peyote, Brick or Two-Drop Peyote.
Designs can be saved as a pattern or a graphic.
Has an inbuilt custom color designer where you can fine tune each color to achieve the exact hue you are searching for. There is no limit to the number of palettes you can use in a given design and once each bead has been colored and approved, the color is retained even if you change palettes.
Several print options available to print your pattern.

The Bead Pattern Designer 2003 software is part of a combination package on a CD-ROM that consists of the following :
AutoBead Version 2.1 -
AutoBead is a software program that automatically converts imported graphic image files and scanned images into bead patterns. It has two major functions. One is image processing and the other for pattern generation. AutoBead has been designed as an Add-on to the Bead Pattern Designer but can also be used separately to create and print patterns.
File formats that can be imported are BMP, JPG , PCX and others. It can also accept input from any TWAIN device such as digital cameras or scanners. Once an image has been opened by the program for processing, it can at anytime be saved in the above file formats.
The program is simple to use but does require some basic knowledge of color as it relates to computers, computer monitors and printers. The On-Line Manual includes Detailed Information on how to use the program and includes tutorials that help tie details together. Using the Manual is like Browsing a Web Site.
Bead Pattern Designer 2003 -
Bead Pattern Designer has been designed around a concept Beaders are all familiar with, graph paper. Based on this concept, the primary and most important feature of this software is its ability to produce instant graph paper for each new design. We call the graph paper representation the program produces, a BEAD MATRIX. A new term for a new tool.
Includes the ability for the beader to define the following parameters:
Pattern Type, either Loom, Peyote, Brick or Two Drop Peyote
How finished size is determined; inches, millimeters or bead count
What type of bead to use and the bead size
The designer can also define the shape of the beads as being either a short, fat ovals or a tall, skinny one.
Print options are also available.
Custom Color Designer which is built into the software allows the designer to fine tune each color to achieve the exact hue they are searching for. Only your computer equipment will limit your ability to accurately define a palette of up to 48 colors in up to 64 million hues and, there is no limit to the number of individual palettes you can save for future use except the available space on your hard drive. There is no limit to the number of palettes you can use in a given design. Each bead, once it has been colored and "OK'D", will retain the color even if you change palettes.
Design can be saved as a pattern design or as a graphic.
