Acid and Lignin free, environmentally friendly products. Made of real metal with pure metal surface. Strong enough to withstand heat, easy to cut, washable, you can sew on it and great to use for 3D projects.
CUTTING - Cuts cleanly with scissors, razor blades and paper cutters. No frayed edges.
TEARING - Super strong, but tears easily if you "knick" the edge first.
FOLDING - Needs to be creased firmly but folds and wraps well for covering most surfaces including bookbinding. A 15-watt soldering iron can scribe lines on either side of the material for easy folding or for surface decoration.
PAINTING - All latex, acrylic and oil based paints may be used.
PRINTING - Can be printed with a copy machine, ink jet printer or silk screened.
GLUEING - Glues such as 3M Spray, Crafters Pick and Mighty Tacky have the best permanent bond. Memory Book Glue Dots and Adhesive Tech work well too.
SEWING - Material is easily sewn, embroidered or beaded with standard needles. Holds thread without tearing.
SAFE FOR PHOTO AND SCRAPBOOKING
STAMPING or CALLIGRAPHY or DRAWING - Use any standard stamping ink. Smooth textured material will result in clearest images. For writing or drawing use any of your favorite inks and pens, again the best results will be obtained on the smoother materials.
PUNCHING - Tougher than paper but most standard punches work cleanly.
EMBOSSING - Material can be hot or cold embossed.
WASHING or CLEANING - Soap and water can be used for cleaning if necessary.
METAL COLORS - Have protective coatings to prevent them from changing colors.
HEAT FORMING - An embossing gun can be used to melt edges and create other effects such as dimensional surface features.
