As an avid supporter of the Dire Husi program, here is a story of a street kid from Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines who was into drugs and petty theft and didn’t know his birth date, let alone his parents. This June, he will be going back to school as a development communications scholar at the Ateneo de Cagayan thanks to a British Council program.
