Soft Treasures' Helpful Hints & Tips

(1) Don't throw out those beautiful candle containers when the candle is all gone—wash them up and refill them with pure scented soy wax.That is the beauty of candles made of Soy. They are easily washed and containers can easily be reused. Great for keepsakes.

(2) Soy candles burn up to nearly 40% longer than traditional petroleum-based candles. By burning these candles, you can be assured of a clean-burning wax so therefore it is environmentally-friendly.

(3) Please read warning labels before lighting a candle. Burning candles is a responsibility.

(4) Burning times we have provided are as much as possible the most realistic estimated burn times and hopefully more under "PERFECT" conditions. Burn times will vary from scent to scent and according to the candle user's burning habits. Always strive to follow the burning instructions that comes with your purchased candle to get the most burning time out of your candle.

(5) Always burn candle at least until the wax has liquefied to the edge of the jar. A general rule of thumb is one hour per inch of width of candle. This will prevent any chance of tunneling.

(6) Keep wick centered and melt pool free of debris. When your wax burns down to the last 1/2" you may need to re-center your wicks if they move. Do not forget to extinquish the flame first before re-centering the wick.

(7) Cautionary Measures apply for pregnant women, babies, children and elderly and those with very sensitive skins on the AROMATHERAPY SOY CANDLES or for any type of candles. Please be aware that several essential oils may trigger an epileptic seizure for those with epilepsy.
