Projects and Ideas: Decorated Flat Marbles
Here I have decorated the bottom of a round tin with a Vintage christmas angel, a candy jar with a 'Friends forever' image. The round tin comes with a clear glass cover so you an actually see the vintage angel image even if the tin is covered. In both cases, I printed the images on an inkjet rub-on sheets.
Using clear flat marbles, I printed different images on an inkjet rub-on sheet and transferred the images to the clear marbles. Once they have dried up, I sealed the images with a clear varnish to seal and protect the images. The flat marbles are about 1.5" in size or about 4cms. You can use them to decorate any altered book art project or use them to decorate picture frames or for card-making.
