'jwolf' who is my sister is short for Joan Wolf.
Joan Wolf is a mixed media artist who lives in Oman and does crafting as a hobby.
She initially designed and created her dolls in 2002, named them after our 2 younger sisters and niece (we come from a family of 3 boys and 7 girls) and so was born Monik and Fabi, Ginger, Angelica and Annie with her friend Bunny. To keep these little girls company especially at Christmas, she decided to create Santa and little Snowy.
She used to sell her created dolls, patterns and kits in market stalls. You will not find them in any craft shops. Her handmade dolls are one of a kind.
She designs, makes her own ceramic tiles. She does her own glazing, painting and firing. Her tile trivets are unique and one-of-a-kind as well.
Today she does kids' craft, teaches arts , silk painting to both kids and adults. Travels to Australia with her family twice a year.
