How to use Colorplus Fabric Sheets :
Instructions : 3 Easy steps
Step 1 : Print onto fabric.
1. The fabric sheet must be flat. If the sheet is curled, use a hot iron on the paper side.
2.Before you load any fabric sheets into your printer, be sure to trim off loose threads - do not pull. Also, brush off any fabric dust or threads that may be on the fabric.
3. Do not force any fabric sheet into any printer. Place the sheet flush against the paper guide and square with the entry roller.
4. First try feeding single sheets at a time. If the paper loads from the top, place it on the tray fabric side up. If the paper loads in a lower feed tray, place the fabric in the tray paper side up.
5. Keep your printer properties set at the 'plain paper' setting.
6. Wait for about five minutes for the ink to dry. (Epson printers require a longer time).
Step 2 : Peel fabric off the paper.
1. To remove the paper from the fabric either use your fingernail or a pin to raise the fabric from the paper or tear the corner of the paper to get a corner of the fabric to pull the fabric from the paper.
2. If the fabric seems too tight on the paper, iron the fabric side. That should loosen the grip. Lift the fabric off while the paper is still warm.
Step 3: Rinse
1. This step is intended to remove excess dyes and chemicals, pre-shrink the fabric and in some cases will brighten the colors.
2. Fill a sink or tub (large enough to keep the fabric flat) with a couple of inches of cold to lukewarm water. Use clean, clear water with each piece of fabric. Rinse only one sheet at a time.
3. Dip the fabric into the water only for a few seconds. As you insert and remove the fabric from the water, hold it by the two top corners so that it does not fold over. Make sure the fabric is completely immersed in the water. Do not allow the fabric to fold over onto itself. It is normal to see colors in the water.
4. Use an absorbent towel large enough for the towel to fold over. Place the fabric flat onto the towel, then fold the towel over the fabric and blot to remove the excess water. It is normal to see the excess dyes on the towel. Do not wring or twist the fabric to remove the excess water.
5. To dry : Always keep the fabric flat. Air dry, blow-dry or microwave for 1-1/2 minutes. Do not iron the fabric to dry it (it may scorch).
6. You may iron the fabric when it is completely dry. If desired, you may also apply Scotch Guard.
7. There is no need for steaming or other post-processing.
You are now ready to use the fabric !!
