LayBy Plans Terms and Conditions
Soft Treasures is pleased to offer a simple and flexible payment plan in any merchandise available for sale in our eStore as long as you meet our minimum purchase requirement of $50.00 . The total of $50.00 could be for a single item purchase or multiple item purchases in a day.
1.1 We require a minimum of 20% deposit plus postage which is the cost of sending the items to you when the invoice is fully paid. You will be advised of the total amount of your plan including postage and the initial 20% deposit amount you are required to pay to officially start your Layby payment plan when we send you the order confirmation.
1.2 Depending on the period, frequency of payment and how payment is to be made which you will indicate in the Order form and/or Layby Payment Application form, we will be sending you an invoice reminder/request for payment representing the total amount due for each and every specific date in your plan. Depending on your choice of frequency of payment, every payment due date will be determined and calculated based on the actual date of the original invoice.
1.3 We only accept payments in the form of direct bank deposit of which our bank account details will be provided to you in the invoice reminder and/or via Paypal.
1.4 We ask all buyers with active Layby payment plans to make full payment within 90 days. Depending on the amount, we may extend it beyond 90 days (for another 2-4 weeks) as we do understand that sometimes due to circumstances beyond one's control, circumstances change or things dont go as planned.
1.5 LayBy Period and Terms of Payment :

1.6 Because we incur costs in administering anyone's Layby payment plan, we regret to advise that in case of default of payments or Layby cancellation, we will not refund the initial deposit of 20% made. If cancellation is requested before the invoice has been fully paid, we will refund all monies received less the amount equivalent to the 20% initial deposit.
1.7 Any refunds due will be made based on the mode of Layby payment you have selected. Bank Deposit payments will be refunded via bank deposit. Paypal payments will be refunded via paypal and postal money order payments will be refunded via postal money order. For items already posted and are to be returned yet, refunds will only be made after the returned item has been received by us.
1.8 If you change your mind about the item you have purchased and would prefer to purchase another item, we will be happy to oblige. Just write to us with the details of the product you prefer and we will make all the necessary changes and/or adjustments relating to your new transaction at no extra cost.
1.9 If ever you are returning the item after the Layby plan has been completed and item has been posted to you, we will refund all monies received from the transaction less the 20% initial deposit. You will be responsible for the cost you will incur in sending the item back to us.
1.10 We do require you to advise us of your intention to return the item by writing to us. Item(s) must be in its original condition and packaging. We do not accept returns on fabrics, any books and/or magazines, software and/or any type of patterns or instructional items. (Please refer to our returns policy.)
1.11 If you intend to complete your purchase way ahead of your plan and want to receive your item earlier, you can certainly do so. Just write to us and we will do the necessary final processing of your plan and advise you of the final payment to be made.
